“It Is Accomplished” – A Revelation from Spirit

On this beautiful Easter Sunday, I felt called to sit with The Passion of the Christ, a tradition that never fails to move me. True to form, I found myself weeping midway through, undone by the weight and beauty of the sacrifice. It’s one thing to read about it, but to witness a portrayal of that depth of love and pain… it hits differently. Every time.

And yet — this time, something shifted.

There’s a moment near the end, where Jesus, hanging on the cross, looks to his mother, then lifts his gaze to the heavens and says, “It is accomplished.”

Not “It is finished”—but accomplished.

And in that word, something in me cracked open.

"Accomplished" didn’t feel like an ending. It felt like completion. Like checking something off the divine to-do list and preparing for what’s next in the soul’s unfolding. It felt purposeful. Empowered. Cosmic.

And I couldn’t help but reflect on how often Spirit breathes assignments into our being—nudges to create, to speak, to heal, to love. Sometimes those assignments come as a quiet whisper, other times as a fire in our bones. But they always carry purpose. And they come with the potential for us to accomplish something sacred.

We’re not just here to exist—we’re here to fulfill. To follow the divine breadcrumbs. To move through what we’re called to do, no matter how hard or humbling it may be. Jesus accomplished all he came here to do, even through agony. And that tells me—we can too.

So when God places that vision in your heart, that idea, that message, that song, that story… whatever it may be—know that it’s not random. It’s an echo of your soul’s contract. An invitation to create something eternal.

And when you follow it, through the doubts and delays, through the pain and resistance, you’ll one day look up and say with a full heart and open spirit:

“It is accomplished.”

We honor the Giver by honoring the gift.

"Accomplished" didn’t feel like an ending.
"Accomplished" didn’t feel like an ending.
